Mississippi Heirloom Portrait Photographer

Back in the early summer I had a past client contact me to see if I offered heirloom portraits – quite honestly I didn’t really know what she was talking about. After doing a little research and a lot of reading I decided this was something I wanted to try. I did a few model calls so that I could practice this new skill and I consulted with some other amazing photographers that gave me a few tips and tricks on how to accomplish a beautiful heirloom portrait. Then I was on the hunt for the perfect frames and fine art paper. I felt like I went down a rabbit hole trying to find exactly what I wanted to offer. After ordering way too many samples, I finally decided on a company to use for my printing and framing. Let me tell you… they are GORGEOUS!

Finally in early August I decided to hold my very first Heirloom Event, I was crossing my fingers that I had at least a few that would sign up. To my surprise, I filled all my slots. The two day event was a huge success! Each child was so sweet. While I did have to pull out a few tricks for those smiles we ended up with some amazing treasures.

Below is a small sampling of all the beautiful heirloom portraits that were captured. My next heirloom event will come in early February. Be on the lookout for an email the first week in October!

If you would like to receive more information about an heirloom session for your children please fill out the contact form and I will be sure to get the information to you first. Let’s create a legacy for your child!
