I feel so blessed to photograph babies. Every single day I thank the Lord for blessing me with this job. One of my favorite parts of my job is that I get to do Milestone photography. This is where the parents come back to see me as their baby grows and reaches significant milestones. I always tell my newborn clients that I recommend that they come back to me when baby is six to seven months old. I also suggest that the baby be able to sit on her own if only for a few seconds. Sitting up is obviously a huge milestone in babies life. So many exciting things occur within the first year.

Baby Hallie came to see me when she was born and I did her newborn baby pictures. I photographed her at a week new, tiny little sweetheart, now she came back to see me at 6 months old. Who isn’t absolutely crazy about this age? Not only is it such a fun age, but also the babies have developed so much personality. All it takes is a peek-a-boo (in a high pitched voice) and oh my goodness the smiles and giggles are priceless. They roll around on their backs and grab their toes; they are flipping over from front to back, pushing up on their tummy, most of the time sitting up by themselves.

I am super excited to have her come see me for her one-year baby session!
